Sezóna 1991/1992 byla 75. sezonou NHL. Vítězem Stanley Cupu se stal tým Pittsburgh Penguins. Poprvé se zúčastnil tým San Jose Sharks, a tak byla NHL poprvé od roku 1979 rozšířena.
